![]() Today we're ordering the first paperback copies of Mr. Boardwalk, Louis Greenstein's magnificent novel about a boy growing up in Atlantic City. Readers who can't wait have already purchased the Kindle ebook from Amazon, but now the print lovers will get their due. Official release date: June 3. Watch this blog, your favorite booksellers, and/or our Facebook and Twitter posts for updates. Today we received a wonderful endorsement of Mr. Boardwalk from an expert on its setting, Bryant Simon. Professor Simon has written a highly praised book about Atlantic City—the town's charm, its problems, and what it can tell us about American life. It means a lot to us that he liked the novel. Here's what he has to say: The Atlantic City of the past was a place oozing with a strange and elusive magic. In his tender and taut novel, MR. BOARDWALK, Louis Greenstein captures, as well as anyone has, the mighty and magnetic pull of this place, how it grabbed people when they were young and wouldn’t let go. Mighty and magnetic indeed—and that aura is captured in the story and the characters.
