The sort function on Goodreads reviews is weird; choose "newest" and the most recent one ends up neither at the top nor at the bottom. Hence we missed this five-star review of MR. BOARDWALK posted a couple of days ago by Matt Mongiello:
This book reminds me of the novels you'd read for high school English class and end up loving (with slightly more sex and drugs). You know the ones where you'd finish the whole thing even though the class was only half way through? ... They are compelling because they capture the human condition in a way that rings true. Mr. Boardwalk is one of those books....
Overall, I highly recommend Mr. Boardwalk to all audiences. I had a hard time putting it down. It's quality literature. It's fun and sad and touching. And it's got lots of juggling!
